Can I hire a wedding dress or bridesmaids dresses?  
We do not hire out bridal gowns but we do always have a large selection of sample or discontinued wedding dresses at greatly reduced prices - often cheaper than it would be to hire a gown. Bridesmaids dresses are available to buy at a range of prices to suit all budgets.


How long does the average wedding dress take to order? 
Depending on which designer we order from and how busy they are, wedding dresses generally take around 16 weeks to order in. On top of this you need to allow time for fittings and for any alterations to be carried out.


I''m planning well in advance - how far ahead can I order my wedding dress?
Generally we ask you to give us at the very least six months notice before the date of your wedding to allow time for stress free delivery and any neccessary alterations. However, if you are an ultra organised bride to be and wish to get your wedding dress under way then we are happy to process the order but delay the delivery of your gown until a later date. This can often work well as you can then make better informed decisions regarding bridesmaids dresses, flowers etc


My wedding is very soon - can you help?
Don''t panic - we will do our very best to help you! Some designers will provide a rush order service whereby, for a fee (usually around £50-£100) dresses can be delivered in 6 to 10 weeks, or immediately if in stock at their end. Alternatively, for the bride who''s in even more of a hurry, many sample wedding dresses can be bought off the peg, often at a reduced price.

Do you have a catalogue?
Unfortunately we do not have a catalogue to send out. Due to the number of wedding dresses in our collection, any catalogue we produced would quickly be out of date. Many of the dresses available in our shop can be viewed on the Wedding Dresses page of our website.


Do you have sales?
Yes, we periodically sell off our sample wedding dresses (often at a large discount) to make space for new collections.Occasionally the sale dresses will have small pin marks or some dust under the hem, but they are generally in very good condition and represent excellent value for money. We now have a section on this site where you can view our latest special offers.


Do you offer an alteration service?
Yes we do. Almost every wedding dress will need at least a hem length alteration and very often an adjustment at the side seam. Our highly qualified seamstress will fit your gown and carry out the work herself. We charge for how much work your wedding gown actually needs - not the same fixed fee for everyone regardless of the amount of work.


Can we take photographs when we visit the shop?
Due to copyright issues, photos may only be taken once you have ordered your chosen wedding gown - sorry. Many of the designers ask that no photographs are taken as they have often experienced their dresses being copied (usually to a much inferior standard). They invest huge amounts of money in their advertising campaigns and design teams, as well as offering a back-up service to retailers which is then in turn passed on to the bride. Please don't be embarrassed or offended if we ask you to delete any pictures you may have already taken.
